Job Descrption: Nanny needed for a fun, active and talkative toddler. The nanny will work Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8a-4p and Tuesday and Thursday from 9a-5p. Twice a year the family does travel 2 months in Lake Tahoe the summer and 2 months in Florida the winter. The nanny is expected to travel with them. If needed they are willing to fly the nanny back home at th 3 week mark for an extended weekend. While traveling the nanny will work the same hours and make the same salary. We also pop to a city here and there for work and ask our nanny to join us to watch Phillip for a few days of travel with usThese trip are planned in advance and you will be given approx. 1 months notice. The child 14 months old, running and speaking about 50 words. Very easy keeper in terms of napping, baths, eating, etc. He has a very fun, Sunny personality and very busy! Obsessed with examining things like hairdryers, turning ceiling fans on, balls of any kind and putting lids on. The child does enjoy going on outings and taking classes so nanny will drive them places. The child naps once a day for about 2 hours. The family expects the nanny to take the child to several classes a week (MyGym, early childhood center, etc) and spend time at playgrounds, Magic House, etc. He is usually out of the house in a park or at a class before and after his nap, with time spent inside our house unwinding before his nap and at the end of the day when the parents are about to arrive home. The family would like someone who enjoys suggesting activities to them for the child like montessori tray activities, art projects, etc. This family believe's that kids should be kids and would not be upset if the child comes back from an outing covered in dirt because he's had a wonderful time dumping mulch on steps. That said, they fully expect him to contribute to the running of the household as he can....putting his sippy cup on a table rather than the floor, helping to put clothes in the dryer and not throwing food. Nap time is very important to this family and they do not break into them unless dictated by travel.
