Daily responsibilities: Child naps once a day for about 2 hours. We expect our nanny to take him to several classes a week (MyGym, early childhood center, etc) and spend time at playgrounds, Magic House, etc. He is usually out of the house in a park or at a class before and after his nap, with time spent inside our house unwinding before his nap and at the end of the day when we are about to arrive home. The family would like someone who enjoys suggesting activities to them like montessori tray activities, art projects, etc. Lifestyle: Mom and dad own their own business. We think kids should be kids within reason and aren't stressed if theri child comes back from an outing covered in dirt because he's had a wonderful time dumping mulch on steps. That said, we expect him to contribute to the running of the household as he can....putting his sippy cup on a table rather than the floor, helping us to put clothes in the dryer and not throwing food. We are a pretty happy household and everyone pitches in to make schedules work. Mom and dad respect the childs nap and bedtimes and do not break into them unless dictated by travel. The family spends 2 months in Florida during the winter and 2 months in Lake Tahoe during the summer.. they would like the nanny to come with us on those trip and are OK with flying her back to MO for a break during the travel periods. They may also pop to a city here and there for work and ask that the nanny join them to watch the child for a few days of travel with us. These trips are usually planned in advance with a month of warning.
